Ceremony Requirements:

  • Ensure proper spacing between attendees:

    • Maintain at least two empty seats (or six feet separation) between groups in any row, except as follows:

      • Two or more members of the same household can sit adjacent to one another, with two seats (or six feet separation) empty on either side.

      • Two individuals who are not members of the same household, but who are attending together can sit adjacent to one another, with two seats (or six feet separation) empty on either side.

      • Alternate rows between patrons (every other row left empty), as appropriate. --> Stonehouse Villa has spaced ceremony rows apart that does not require every other row left empty.

  • Designate an area at the venue for the at-risk population --> Stonehouse Villa is designating room under the tented deck for at-risk guests to view the ceremony away from other guests. Please notify Stonehouse Villa for requested seating.

  • Guests within the at-risk category are strongly encouraged to watch or participate in the service remotely. --> Consider live-streaming the ceremony, or having someone record the ceremony on a phone, tablet or camera if not hiring a professional videographer.

Reception Requirements:

  • Reception services held indoors are limited to 75% of the facility's total listed occupancy. Vendors are not counted towards 75% occupancy limitation.

  • Reception services held outdoors are strongly recommended and are not subject to an occupancy limit.

  • All vendors and guests must wear a face covering (over the nose and mouth) wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another individual not in the same household.

  • Groups must maintain at least 6 feet of distance from other groups at all times, including while waiting to be seated at the reception.

  • Make hand sanitizing station available upon entry to the reception.

  • No tables of more than 10 people.

  • Dining tables must be set 6 feet apart from one another.

  • Dining / Catering:

    • Do not leave condiments, silverware, flatware, glassware, or other traditional table top items on an unoccupied table.

    • Provide condiments only upon request, and in single use (non-reusable) portions.

    • Use disposable menus (new for each patron)

    • If a buffet is offered, catering must serve the food to attendees.

Please Note: The City of Austin & Travis County regulations DO NOT apply for Stonehouse Villa. Stonehouse Villa is located in Hays County outside of any city limits. There is current confusion circulating about Travis County's current ban of outdoor gatherings of more than 10 people (posted: 7/2/20) limiting wedding guest counts and that information is false. Weddings happening in Travis County are exempt by this mandate.
